23YO Young Mum Who Has 11 Children Hopes to Have 105 More With Her 56YO Husband | "We Certainly Don’t Plan to Stop"

“I gave birth to my eldest daughter Vika myself six years ago. The rest of the children are genetically ours from my husband and I, but were carried by surrogates.”

Everyone has something in their lives that they're really passionate about. For some, it's studying or work and for others it can range from cooking, dancing to binge-watching movies. However, for a 23-year-old woman in Russia, it's being a mother.

Don't mistake her for being a first-time or expectant mother though; she's already a young mum to 11 babies. And she wants to have dozens more with the help of surrogate mothers.

Christina Ozturk might be surrounded by baby food and nappies but the young mother wishes nothing more than to have more babies and extending her family with businessman husband Galip Ozturk, 56. The Mirror reported that the couple is so passionate about the whole idea that they're ready to spend up to $1.5 million to have 100 more babies.

“At the moment, I have 10 children with the latest addition, Olivia, who arrived at the end of last month,” divulged Christina. “I gave birth to my eldest daughter Vika myself six years ago. The rest of the children are genetically ours from my husband and I, but were carried by surrogates.” Christina and Galip's youngest baby is 11 months old.

The couple lives in the coastal town of Batumi which falls under the former Soviet republic of Georgia, where having babies through surrogacy is legal since 1997 as long as the couple is heterosexual and married. They once mentioned on social media that they wish to be parents to 105 babies but then later explained that it was meant to be a joke.

“I don’t know how many they will eventually be, but we certainly don’t plan to stop at 10. We just not ready to talk about the final number. Everything has its time,” said Christina.

The mother-of-11 is originally from Russia and was a single mother when she decided to move to Batumi for a break. That's where she met Galip, a property and transport magnate originally from Turkey. She revealed that it was love at first sight for her when she met him on her first day in Batumi. To her, Galip is a "mentor, guide and fairytale prince all rolled into one."

Echoing his wife's feelings about their first meet, Galip added, "She is so easy to be with, she always has a smile on her lips and yet at the same time is shy and mysterious. She was the kind of wife I always wanted for myself, an uncut diamond where I saw what a pure and kind heart she had." Things moved pretty quickly after that. The mum gushed that even though the 56-year-old was much older than she was and had children of his own, he didn't mind extending his family.

The couple's original plan was to have a baby every year but soon realized that would be impossible; that's how they decided to use surrogate mothers. Each pregnancy costs around $9,707.

Christina revealed that all of her potential surrogates have to go through counseling and proceed legally before becoming pregnant. A thorough background check is done on the young women to ensure they're clean with no addictions or habits. Also, only women who've become pregnant at least once are chosen. Once they join the program, they are provided with counseling sessions to prepare the surrogate mothers for the challenge including giving up the baby after they're born, reported The Daily Mail.

"The clinic in Batumi chooses surrogate mothers for us and takes full responsibility for the process. We are not personally acquainted with surrogate mothers and do not have direct contacts with them in order to avoid problems after pregnancy. All communication takes place through the clinic, we only monitor health indicators, I make up a dietary menu for mothers so that the food is complete, I look at the test results," explained Christina.

The young mum says that people always assume that more than her it must be the nannies taking care of her babies but she disclosed that she tries to spend as much time as she can with her babies. She admits that taking care of 11 babies is not as easy as she thought but she loves it all.
