Late Beth Chapman's Store Robbed and Personal Items Stolen | Duane Chapman "Distraught" over Heartless Act

Just over a month after Beth's passing away, someone has broken into the Bounty store and stolen merchandise. But worse, they also stole Beth's personal belongings, leaving Dog distraught over the incident.

It's been just over a month since Dog the Bounty Hunter star Beth Chapman left us and already, her memory has been disrespected.

A few days back, some shocking news hit the internet. Bounty Store in Edgewater, Colorado, the shop that housed the show's merchandise was burglarized, reported CNN. To make it even more distressing, a ton of items belonging to the late Beth Chapman was stolen as well.

According to Fox8 News, the Edgewater police officers were dispatched to 2547 Sheridan Boulevard on Tuesday on a report of a suspicious incident. When they arrived, the first thing they noted was the damage to the front door. Since they were unable to reach anyone from the business, they secured the building.

"The official Dog and Beth merchandise store was robbed on Thursday. Not only did the thieves take thousands of dollars of clothing, these criminals took priceless personal belongings of our beloved Beth, including tributes to her kindly left by our amazing fans," the statement from a family spokesperson to Fox News read.

"We are working with our friends in law enforcement to find these perpetrators, and are offering a cash reward to anyone who provides information about their identity. To whoever did this, you better watch out. Dog is coming for you."

According to The Blast, the news outlet who first reported this news, the store had been completely ransacked with thousands of dollars worth of merchandise gone. Of the items that were stolen, even one of the more valuable pieces was not spared - Beth's bounty hunting gear which had been put on display as a makeshift memorial dedicated to her.

With Duane still mourning the death of his loving wife, a source told Entertainment Tonight that Dog is “distraught" at the situation.

He posted a message on Twitter stating:

Fox8 News also reported that during the press conference he had held, he was seen choking back tears when he mentioned his wife and the robbery. He informed the reporters of the items stolen and said that if he could have one item back, it would be her taser. In the same conference, he said that if the person who was responsible for this heinous act turned themselves in within two days, he would not press charges.

On June 26, 2019, the world had to say goodbye to Beth Chapman after she had fought off throat cancer not one, but three times. While she made her recovery after the first two times, she was unable to cope with the third one. So while she was in The Queen's Medical Center, Honolulu, Hawaii, United States, she breathed her last. She was honored in a traditional Hawaiian style memorial as well as a service in Colorado that was attended by thousands of people.

Sadly though, her passing didn't stop others from trying to exploit her death. This news came shortly after Duane Chapman warned his followers about internet scammers impersonating him and Beth on social media. According to Country Living, these fake accounts were allegedly asking for money, something the Dog’s Most Wanted star insisted he would never do.
